Library Staff

Jake Johnson, Director – Jake started volunteering at the Library in 2011 and was officially hired onto staff in November of 2012. He first started out as a part-time circulation clerk working Tuesday and Thursday evenings and every other Saturday. He gradually took on more responsibility, taking over the Library website and, after a few years, the IT side of things. He was made Assistant Director in July of 2016 after Sue Oliveira announced her retirement. He took over as Director in January of 2017.

Sara Rogers, Assistant Director – Sara started working at the Library in November 2001. Like many employees who have started here, she started out as a shelver and part-time circulation clerk. Eventually, she took over as our primary cataloger, a job she still does full-time today! She was promoted to Assistant Director in May 2018. While she mainly works behind the scenes, she has been very beneficial to the Library over the years, helping with many of our programs and events, and working tirelessly on our successful Seed Library. She has also spent many hours putting together personal hygiene kits for our patrons in need.

Vicki Bibb, Adult Services – Vicki started volunteering in 2004, helping with our summer reading programs. She was hired after a levy increase passed in January 2007 as our first official Youth Services Librarian. During her time in Youth Services, she hosted many summer, homeschool, and spring programs and developed many crafts for children and their families to make! Vicki transitioned to her current role in Adult Services in 2022. While her title changed to Adult Services, she had actually been running many adult programs alongside the children’s programming over the years. She is currently the host of our Tea and a Book book club.

Leslie Clark, Youth Services – Leslie is our newest Youth Services person, hired in February 2026. She is excellent for this role, having been a retired grade school art teacher. She came right in, coming up with programming ideas for our 2026 summer reading program and hosting our weekly preschool Baby Bookworms program.

Brayden, Circulation Clerk – Brayden was hired in August 2023 as one of our newest circulation clerks. Chances are, you have seen him if you come into the library in the evenings or on a Saturday, manning the front desk. He is here to answer many of your library related questions.

Steven, Janitor – Steven brings over 40 years of cleaning experience. He is responsible for keeping our Library looking clean and sanitized.
